Information on the seed based on the EU seed regulation:

The seed is expressly sold as ornamental plant seed. Any fruit that may grow is not intended for consumption. We eat the fruit anyway for testing purposes. The information on taste and possible uses is purely informal.

Many thanks to the EU for contributing to the extinction of old varieties that are no longer economically viable to grow with its highly complicated approval procedures. As an EU citizen, I see it as my duty to counteract this and to preserve precisely this endangered diversity.
