verbena (Verbena officinalis)

Verbena
Acrobatic stem dancers.
This popular perennial from South America wonderfully lightens up any perennial bed. Its densely filled flower balls seem to float weightlessly on the delicate and almost leafless stems. With their nectar, these form a welcome target for many butterflies. With its stability and long flowering period, verbena is an asset to your summer or autumn garden. It harmonizes particularly well with yellow and orange tones.
