Crown Campion Lychnis coronaria

The bright carmine red to light purple or white flowers of the crowned campion appear from June to August, depending on the variety. They are about three centimeters wide and stand individually in loosely branched clusters. The petals are wide and undivided, which gives the flowers a plate-like appearance. Crowned campions bloom most beautifully in the second year.
