At first glance, the long, narrow and pointed peppers have little in common with their comfortably round relatives. Not even the color is the same: pointed peppers are yellowish to light green; some varieties are also bright dark green. However, when the light green peppers are really ripe, they also turn dark red and then reveal their relationship to the thicker and rounder cousins. If you like them, you will definitely appreciate pointed peppers too. This type of pepper is not only often cheaper than the usual fruits, it also tastes particularly good.
