Hemp hibiscus (Hibiscus cannabinus)
The hemp hibiscus (Hibiscus cannabinus) is a stately summer flower that grows up to 1.50m tall, blooms profusely and for a long time and also self-seeds. The attractive large white flowers with a large aubergine-colored basal spot are only open in the morning, however.
